Claudia Wigger received her professional degree from the Technische Universitaet, Berlin, Germany where she graduated with distinction and was nominated for the Taut scholarship. She has practiced since 2002 and gained her professional experience in several offices including SauerbruchHutton, ROBERTNEUN, as-if and Foster and Partners in Berlin and RAD in Hong Kong, China. In 2008 she co-founded ICE-Ideas for contemporary environments with her partner Ulrich Kirchhoff and Louise Low, an architectural practice based in Hong Kong (China), Berlin (Germany) and Detroit, MI.

ICE is designing environments, which focus on contemporary typologies such as mixed use, live-in factories and urban infrastructural projects. ICE is currently working on a high rise mixed-use development in Hanoi, Vietnam, several interior projects in Shenzen, China and a display system for a major thread producing company. ICE's design work has been featured in various international design publications, exhibitions and digital media.

Claudia taught as a graduate student instructor at the Technische Universitaet, Berlin with Mathias Sauerbruch and Michael Mussotter in 1998-2000.
