Jennifer Harmon is a multi-disciplinary designer who explores relationships between convergent practices in architecture, graphic design and fine art. Jennifer is the founder and owner of Cyanitecture, an award winning, research-based interdisciplinary design practice who's endeavors are fueled by a wanderlust for observing natural processes acting within a constructed world.

Following a career as an art director/graphic designer, Jennifer received her Master of Architecture in 2005 from the University of Michigan where her efforts received numerous design awards including the school's highest honor, the Thesis Award. Her thesis, "Retreat from Consciousness" was presented in "4/77 Selected Works" exhibit at the Taubman College of Architecture Gallery and has been published in Dimensions 19. She has worked for NBBJ designing large-scale projects such as Kuwait University and The Cleveland Clinic Glickman Tower Expansion, which was awarded the 2009 "Best of Healthcare Interiors" by Interior Design Magazine. Her practice in New York City provided the opportunity to design offices for various private and corporate clients including Chanel and IAC as well as designing environments for Bliss Spas.

She is a fellow of the MacDowell Colony in Peterborough, NH where she was awarded the Inaugural Graham Foundation Fellowship in 2010. She currently teaches at the A. Alfred Taubman College of Architecture and Urban Planning and is an active member in the National Speleological Society discovering, exploring and surveying unmapped subterranean passages deep within complex cave systems in Kentucky.
